I offer you a warm welcome to Bellerive's website. I am proud to be the headteacher of this popular and oversubscribed school. The College is located in a pleasant area of the city, adjacent to two parks. It is a non selective school for girls, with boys admitted to the sixth form. The intake is from over 40 primary schools throughout the city and beyond.

At Bellerive, we value achievement in its widest sense: academic, personal, social and cultural. The heart of the school is rooted in a strong Catholic tradition and we seek to nurture the spiritual development of each individual pupil.

Bellerive was awarded Sciences specialist college status in 2003 and won Maths and Computing status in December 2007. In 2008 we were invited to apply for a third specialism. The 'Applied Learning ' specialism started in 2009.

Bellerive has been nationally recognised as a high performing specialist school. 

In November 2007, Bellerive was inspected by both OFSTED and by inspectors on behalf of the Archdiocese. Both inspections came to the conclusion that Bellerive FCJ Catholic College was 'outstanding'.
